it's a subconscious reaction to being treated poorly. I'm guilty of it too, however men and women do this. I dated a guy that REFUSED to trust me because he'd had an ex cheat on him. Every time I was out later than expected or didn't answer the phone, he'd throw a fit. Women do the exact same thing. When past experiences were out of your control, you do a complete 180 and try to control everything. If you are dating someone who will not trust you no matter what, it can also be a sign that they're not trustworthy. You have to go with gut instinct about things like that. If it doesn't feel right, and you're more upset than not around the person, you may want to get out of the situation. Of course I would suggest having a real conversation about it a few times before throwing her to the curb.

My current employer did not do any type of criminal background check. I am wondering what information my previous employer would divulge or is allowed to legally.

Your current employer can do a legal check, only as long as it's legal. Also, there would have to be some court documents to back up their story, otherwise it won't show up.

Basically I get 2 raw liver and mince it up ( I keep it Raw) and then I mix it with powdered sugar untill it draws all the moisture. Most times, we don't call references, because they're friends who will say good things about you.

Usually I don't tell the candidate that they failed the background check – if they call I tell them that they're not hired, and if they press I may tell them – we're not requried by law to notify you if you fail the b.c.

and yes, lying on your resume is a reason to fail – if you're off by a couple of months, that's ok, when you're off by years, well, that's a problem.

How in the world could that be? Asking a teen who's facing the problem, and who may or may not have heard about it from his parents can be a incredible input. What's predatorial about that? (I'm really confused)
