criminal backgrounds…….?

That is generally public information. States like Missouri have something called Case.net that is an awesome tool for checking court records. What state is the individual from? If you wish to contact me with specifics I would be happy to give you a hand and point you in the right direction.

not all states have web sites, but you can try typing in the state and department of corrections or prison system, which every terminology applies to the state involved.
try [arizona department of corrections ] and you will see what I mean
