Women, would you support a law that required sexual predators to be castrated if it included……?
Written by admin on April 6, 2009 – 12:56 pm -Women, would you support a law that required sexual predators to be castrated if it included that if the predator is female, she must undergo something similar.
I know it's not the same thing but you can't have a law that punishes men more than women for the same crime.
Such as if a female teacher is caught having sex with one of the children she teaches, she must have her sexual anatomy mutilated? Like those tribes in Africa where they cut of girl's clitorises and sew their vaginas shut?
Seriously, it is totally irrelevant since the problem lies within the predator's brain.

I wouldn't support mutilation as a punishment in either case. It's wrong.

hard question to answer. Id like to say no way but considering the pain they cause their victims and the lives the child victims live as adults, perhaps or an Iron Maden would be better.

The equivalent procedure, I believe, would be a hysterectomy.
But I don't see either of those ever doing anything to curb the crime and are just barbarous calls for vengeance.

No, I say and eye for an eye. If somebody, girl or guy rapes somebody, they should be raped back. But I don't agree with mutilation of somebody else's body. Eye for an eye.

Absolutely, adults should be held responsible for their actions, but the problem, much like the death penalty is prof, if one were to have this procedure done, to them as punishment and then to be proved innocent, well then it would be fairly unjust, but i do believe an one admitting, or proved Beyond a shadow of a doubt guilty eh video evidence, should be castrated and left to die, its the very least they deserve.!

An eye for an eye makes everyone blind.
The problem is in the predator's brain. Primitive vengeance is not the answer.

Yep. Hopefully the fear of it happening would make some of the evil fuckers think twice and not go through with it.
I'd rather the victim/families decide what happens, personally. Let the evil fuckers not know what could happen to them.
In the end, they'd deserve whatever they'd get. I wouldn't be shedding a tear for any of them.

I wouldn't support a law like that, period. It's barbaric. I think that predators should be locked up in jail for a minimum of 20 years. Let them get a feel of what being preyed upon is like.

I wouldn't support that regardless, I think as civilized people we should be above punishments like that. Putting them in jail should be enough.

I support the death penalty for child molesters who are repeat offenders! (I only say repeat offenders because its best to be 100% sure that the person is a pedophile, and generally people are not wrongly accused multiple times)

i know of a man who have been falsely imprisoned for rape… hes actually innocent
do you have any idea how easy it is for a girl to accuse an innocent man of rape?? in the court room she looks so innocent and harmless.. the man doesnt… who are they going to believe??
mutilation is unconstitutional and barbaric
if theyre imprisoned theres no chance theyll be out on the streets raping…
some person on here suggested that the man should be raped, for the same reasons of why castration is wrong as punishment, rape is wrong as punishment

both laws would be very wrong.
especially in cases where the "victim" is lying.

I'm not sure – I watched a programme on chemical castration on paedophiles in prison. and there's no doubt it did help most of the volunteers. It was a shocking programme, showing how absolutely uncontrollable the urge can be, with men openly masturbating as they talked about their obsessions in group therapy. One man described the chemical castration as a wonderful release, allowing him to be able to live normally.
I don't know the reasons why women actually abuse – I can't see how the sewing up of a vagina or the removal of a clitoris affects the hormones. Which is what a chemical castration does.

Short answer …
People who like to promote castration and torture are sub-humans (like nazis).

No; genital mutilation is wrong. They should be put in jail and kept far, far away from other people.

Maybe,it depends on how badly i was abused, and what would be the physical damages caused to me.It just depends on the situation.

I don't know know any woman who thinks that male predators ought to suffer more punishment than women predators. So I'm not really sure why you brought this up.
